Post Do you think this wall can support a hanging vanity?

Hi! I'm in the process of finishing my bathroom with floating walls. I plan to hang a 50 pound mirror and hang a vanity from this wall. When I built the wall, I used two framing nails on each stud end and when I hung it from the ceiling I used two framing nails in each floor joist. Now that I know I'm going to be hanging a vanity and mirror, I wish I would have used heavy duty long screws.

I've tited two walls successfully so far. I was afraid the walls wouldn't hold the weight of the tiles.

Do you think the wall in the picture hold a vanity and mirror if I screw them to the wall? If not what can I prop the vanity up with under it that will squish when the floor moves? Thoughts/ ideas?

Thanks in advance!

That wall held the vanity and the mirror just fine. The mirror still has the protective film on it in the picture. I passed my plumbing inspection, on to the final.

Hey Proone!

This looks amazing! Awesome pictures and well done! Sorry I didn't chime in sooner but I would have said yes you're 100% good to go with the vanity and mirror, but you've already figured that out 🙂

Awesome job and let me know if you run into any other issues! Would love to see some more pictures of your basement finish project as well!
