I"m wondering if anyone could provide me with an estimate of what it would cost to rough in a drain and auxilliary drains for a three piece washroom in the basement. All that is there now is cement laundry tubs and the stack. The floor is poured cement requiring a jack hammer to trench a pipe to the main drain. The trench would be no more than 8 to 10' from the stack and probably less.

Before I start bothering professional plumbers toronto for an estimate I wanted to see if I can get an idea if I can afford it beforehand. It would be nice to have a second bathroom in the house. I need urgent help in this regard. Kindly chime in with your valuable suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Carrie,

Every situation is different and would depend on your local market, but I would plan on setting aside a few thousand for this project. Every project is different and may require additional work, but you're looking at $2,000-$4,000 for this project.
